Bachelorette Contestant Devin Claimed Good Guys Always Win

In a social media post that was made only two weeks before the shocking conclusion of The Bachelorette and the episode of After the Final Rose, Devin Strader asserted that "good guys always win."

The twenty-first of August saw Devin post two photographs on Instagram, just a few days before the final episodes of season 21 were scheduled to air on Tuesday, September 3. Devin was surrounded by pals who were wearing shirts that were identical to each other and included the text "Jenn & Devin Love Run." These shirts were displayed alongside photographs of Jenn Tran and Devin Tran's faces.

Big Ed Brown, the controversial reality TV personality who is most known for his appearances on 90 Day Fiancé, was seen in a still image in the second photograph.

Using the phrase "Good Guys Always Win," Davin captioned the Instagram carousel photograph.

What to know about Devin Strader, the Pete Davidson-esque 'Bachelorette' contestant whose big personality is winning over Jenn

During the finale, fans witnessed Jenn, 26, proclaiming Devin as The One. However, during the live segment of the program, it was revealed that Devin had broken off the engagement between the two of them over the phone. Jenn stated that he "regretted" really being engaged.

After seeing the last episode of the series, social media went back to Devin's post from August 20 to give him the opportunity to face the consequences. In a remark, one person said, "The sick part if he posted this after he knew what happened," while another user commented, "Posting like you "win" a competition and not like you broke someone's heart." I am ashamed of you.

During the After the Final Rose program, Jenn, who brushed away tears at one moment, described what went down once cameras stopped filming.

“It’s been a really hard couple of months. We had left Hawaii engaged … extremely thrilled. Jenn started up by saying, "It was the happiest day of my life." “And then essentially as soon as we left Hawaii things were just different. It simply felt like he was slipping away, all the promises he made of wanting to relocate together somewhere and see each other all the time … the attempts were inconsistent. I was bewildered, I didn’t understand because we left so happy.” You may also read this: Why Taylor Swift Concert Was Targeted for Terror Act

Addressing Devin’s explanation for breaking up with her, Jenn stated, “He basically said he didn’t love me anymore and didn’t feel the same way. He was checked out. It wasn’t what he wanted anymore.”

The episode also saw Jenn confront Devin, wondering why he followed her fellow Bachelor season 28 candidate Maria Georgas on Instagram the morning following their separation. Jenn also alleged that Devin went “clubbing” with fellow Bachelorette participant Jeremy Simons instead of mourning the couple’s separation.

The inquiries lead Devin to reveal that he “had a lot of doubts” about their relationship after filing wrapped.

Jenn also revealed how she sought to salvage their relationship, offering couple’s counseling to Devin, but his mind was already made up. She stated the pair last saw one other in July — roughly one month previous to Devin posting his mysterious Instagram carousel.
